Founded in the late 1940’s, the Silver Spur Riding Club has been a staple in the Oceanside community. Our Club has hosted hunter jumper, western pleasure, gymkhanas, pledge rides, long distance competitive trail and endurance rides, regularly attended the local July 1st parades, hosted a Xmas toy rides through both Parksville and Qualicum Beach. We volunteer for Family Day at the Coombs Fairgrounds in February and the Coombs Fair in August along with events held at the Rodeo Grounds. Members provided local government with feedback on the multi-use Oceanside trail systems, many which have been developed by Club members. Below is a snapshot of our past!
